Ghadan Company was founded in 2009 as a marketing company in Egypt. In a short time, we expanded our reach into many areas of the minerals business, particularly salt supply. We quickly developed a reputation for high-quality products and exceptional service, becoming a well-known salt supplier in Egypt and promoting our brand throughout Europe, the USA, and Canada.

As a reliable producer of bulk salt, we are fortunate to have our own mine located in the Western Desert of Egypt, one of the cleanest environments on Earth. This enables us to produce and supply very high-quality salt with a capacity of 1,000,000 metric tons per year. We understand that every market has its own specific requirements and standards. That's why we have the experience and facilities to cater to customers across Africa, Europe, Canada, and the USA. We handle each order individually, processing the salt according to the buyer's exact specifications.
Ghadan: A Pioneer in Siwa Rock Salt
Ghadan's reputation as a leading Egyptian salt supplier was solidified in 2011. During this time, we discovered a vast deposit of salt in the Siwa Oasis of the Western Desert. Ghadan became the first company to introduce Siwa Rock Salt to the global market. Over the years, we have consistently supplied Siwa Rock Salt of the highest quality, rigorously adhering to ASTM D632 Type 1 standards.
Ghadan's Recognition in the Global Marketplace
In 2016, Ghadan was proud to be one of only three non-American companies to participate in the annual industry convention that began in 1961. This prestigious event served as a testament to Ghadan's standing as a leading international salt supplier. Furthermore, Ghadan's CEO, Mr. Ahmed Lotfy, was awarded the Winter Maintenance Supervisor Certificate during the convention.
